Nigerian Woman Gives Birth To White Baby In UK

A Nigerian woman in the United Kingdom has beat odds of a million to one after she gave birth to a Caucasian child.

Catherine Howarth couldn’t believe her eyes when her son was handed to her by a midwife.

Little Jonah is completely white and shows no signs of having a black mother.

The child’s father is white but the chances of a bi-racial couple having a white child is very slim.

Catherine said:

“We have been told that I must have been carrying a recessive gene,” said Catherine.

“My parents were from Nigeria and, for as far back as anyone can remember, my family have all been black.

Catherine is married to Richard, a medical recruitment consultant and their son was born at the Milton Keynes Hospital on June 1.
