Let that sink in.

This leads me to the conclusion that the world is seriously tired of serious people.

I mean how else could Trump, who has never held a political office and has no scruples whatsoever, beat Hillary Clinton?! Hillary Clinton!!!

Hillary Clinton has served as a Senator and a Secretary of State. She has also been First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady of the US. Choosing Trump over her is like electing a waiter instead of a Harvard grad to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, it’s that bad! But that’s what happened. Why? Because the world is tired of serious people.

Just look around you, some of the most famous and successful people in the world today are doing things that would’ve been considered “unserious” a few years ago.

Musicians, athletes, bloggers, comedians and even the Kardashians are earning more in one year than some lawyers or doctors can hope to earn in a lifetime, and it’s likely to remain that way for a while, or even forever, who knows?

This is not to say that there’s no place for lawyers or doctors, because if they don’t exist, the world would be in big trouble.

Rather, this is a wakeup call to the fact that there’s no point forcing yourself into a “serious” life because someone somewhere thinks that’s what you need to be successful.

The key to success in these ever-changing times is to do what you love, have fun while doing it, believe in yourself and never take no for an answer.

In case you need a reminder, a reality TV star is now the US president. What’s your excuse?
