The Open Road Films which follows an investigation into the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG in 1996 and ’97, respectively will see Forest Whitaker take on the role of a journalist who teams with Johnny Depp in order to find both truth and redemption on a path that sets them directly against the L.A.P.D.

Brad Furman will direct LAbyrinth from the Black List screenplay adapted by Christian Contreras from Randall Sullivan’s book.
