Veteran actress loses daughter to ulcer

Veteran Nollywood actress Iya Rainbow, 73, has reportedly lost her daughter to complications from ulcer.

According to Goldmyne TV Iya Rainbow (Idowu Phillips) lost her daughter Lola this morning (January 15).

Lola was taken to a private hospital Tomade Hospital in Ojodu yesterday due to stomach ulcer complications. She was accompanied by her husband Osborne.

Unfortunately the daughter of the veteran actress passed away in the morning.

According to reports the deceased planned to travel to America today. Her body is now at the Ikeja morgue.

Iya Rainbow has not released a statement concerning the death of her daughter.

The movie star will appear in the Mistura Asunramu-Alao produced movie called ‘’. No release date has been announced for the movie.
