Seyi Shay whose real name is Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua started off her singing career with British pop group From Above. The band was managed by Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles.

After the group split in 2011, she moved back to Nigeria to start her solo career and released a song titled ‘Loving your way’.

The last five years has seen her release memorable songs including ‘Irawo’, ‘Crazy’ featuring Wizkid, ‘Murda’ featuring Patoranking and Shaydee and ‘ Right now’. 2015 saw the singer release her first debut album called “Seyi or Shay”.
