Alexis Sanchez spending lonely time with dog after girlfriend dumped him

Chile international, Alexis Sanchez did not let Arsenal’s defeat to Southampton on New Year day throw him into a deeper state of melancholy after girlfriend, Laia Grassi left him following revelations of unfaithfulness with former Miss Chile.

The 26 year-old posted a selfie of himself and his dog, Golden Retriever laying on the bed, a position which used to be his girlfriend’s before the break-up.

He did appear to be in good spirit as the dog relaxed right on his chest in his home

‘’A good night selfie,’’ he wrote.

Sanchez has scored 10 goals and made 6 assists in 19 premier league appearances for Arsenal.
