"Parents Have Roles To Play In Educating The Child"

An educationist, Chief Rufus Eniola, has stressed the role of parents in ensuring quality education for their children.

Speaking in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Eniola said parents must be fully involved because they have an important role to play.

“Parents have roles to play in educating the child; they ought to provide their children with basic needs, such as writing materials and good food.

“They should also monitor their movement as well as ensure good upbringing including adequate training.

The educationist added that parents and teachers must partner with the government to ensure better education delivery.

He said the role of teachers in children education is crucial, hence the need for them to be motivated.
