Anas al-Basha, also known as the Clown of Aleppo has been killed in a bomb attack that occurred in war torn Syria.

According to the Associated Press, the 24-year-old jester was killed on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, during an aerial bombardment of loyalist forces in the neighborhood of Mashhad, Aleppo East.

Report says that the deceased married two months before the deadly attack.

His wife is among the 200,000 civilians still present in Syria despite the ongoing violence in the country.

The clown had turned down an earlier opportunity to leave the country with his family when the war became very intense.

He had preferred to stay behind to provide entertainment to little children in his clown costume.

Samar Hijazi, Basha's supervisor had nice things to say concerning the impact the deceased had on little children.

She said, "He would act out skits for the children to break the walls between them."

"All of us in this field are exhausted, and we have to find strength to provide psychological support and continue with our work."

The war between the Syrian government and rebel forces has led to the loss of many lives in the country.

Due to fightings, a lot of the country's citizens have sought refuge in some parts of Europe in a bid to avoid getting killed.
