This post was way harder to put together than I’d ever anticipated. Since I started stalking the hashtag #Bookstagram I have noticed that only few African Literature books have been posted.

But thankfully, my stalking and researching finally paid off after I discovered the #AfricanLiterature hashtag.

I finally discovered these 10 gorgeous accounts, I've followed every single one of them, I certainly don't regret it, and neither will you.

These Instagram accounts offer an eclectic mix, including books from far away Egypt to books from DRC, to rare editions, gorgeous shops, shelves, and helpful reviews.

Be warned: The photos here could result in a reading frenzy. Those diagnosed with ‘book hoarding’ fever and overflowing bookshelves should proceed with caution.
