German midfielder makes first red carpet appearance with girlfriend, Ana Ivanovic

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger made his first red carpet appearance with girlfriend and tennis star Ana Ivanovic.

The couple who has been dating since September last 2014, was seen at the WTA pre-Wimbledon party at The Roof Gardens.

It was a welcomed distraction for Schweinsteiger whose future has not been sorted out.

Engagement rumours have also started trailing the couple as a Serbian tennis star Ivanovic flashed an impressive ring at the WTA event in London as she posed for a picture with her 30-year-old boyfriend.

Schweinstieger was seen courtside supporting Ivanovic at the French Open in Paris where she was knocked out in the semifinals.

Ivanovic who has never gone past the semis of the Wimbledon will be hoping to go one, maybe two steps when the 2015 eidition kicks off on Monday, June 29.

Schweinstieger was seen on the training courts on Thursday, June 25 as Ivanovic stepped up her preparation for the tournament.
