Cameroon drop West Ham midfielder, Alex Song from Nations Cup squad

West Ham midfielder,<strong> Alex Song</strong> has been dropped from Cameroon's squad to the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, days after he told the club he would be leaving them in January for the tournament.

The 27 year-old has been putting up stellar performances for the Hammers after his switch from Barcelona in the summer, but has seen his influenc at the national team drop; especially after his part in the 2014 World Cup row and other unprofessional conducts.

German coach, Volker Finke decided it is time to crop up new players for the indomitables.

Tottenham defender, Assou Ekotto is also not named in the 23 man squad.
