PDP describes release of students as a scam

Days after the Defence Minister, Mansur Dan-Ali, promised that the girls were going to be released soon.

Speaking further, Kola Ologboniyan, PDP’s spokesman said that the release of the school girls was a plot hatched by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He also alleged that the APC put the ‘scam’ together in other to gain heroic appraisal from Nigerians. Daily Post reports.

Also, the PDP on its Twitter page, alleged that the abduction and release of the Dapchi girls was staged by the APC Government.

The party said “We condemn the @APCNigeria and certain officials in the @NPresidency for staging the abduction of the schoolgirls in Dapchi, Yobe State, for political purposes. It is wicked, callous and tormenting to use innocent schoolgirls as pawns.

“Nigerians know that the main aim of this devilish act was to delude the public, set the stage for an orchestrated rescue, create a heroic myth and false sense of achievement around the @APCNigeria administration and serve as a spur for @MBuhari ’s declaration to contest in 2019.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has expressed happiness over the return of the Dapchi schoolgirls.
