President returns to Nigeria after EU-AU summit in Cote d'Ivoire

The president is back in Abuja after his trip to Cote d'Ivoire.

The president's return was announced by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on his Twitter account , on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

He posted, "After participating in the 5th EU-AU Summit and many bilateral meetings in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, President @MBuhari returned to Abuja this afternoon."

During his summit, the president had high profile bilateral meetings with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel; Ivorien president, Alassane Ouattara; Ghanaian president, Nana Akufo-Addo; and Vice President of The Gambia, Fatoumatta Tambajang.

He also held an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community in Abidjan where he talked about the illegal migration of Nigerians to Europe and condemned the slave trade going on in Libya where Nigerians are being abused and
