Mobile court fines lady for biting FRSC officer, other traffic offences

A traffic offender has been found guilty of multiple violations, including driving with a cracked windscreen, and the use of worn out tyres.

A female traffic offender has made the news for her unusual behaviour.

Unfortunately for them, Eleazar resisted, sat on the bonnet of her car, and bit the thumb of one of the FRSC officials.

All of these drama resulted a traffic jam on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway on May 12, 2016.

It reportedly took a combined team of officers, from the Ota and Agbado commands, before the FRSC succeeded in arresting her and taking her to the Magistrates’ Court 3 of Ota division.

There, she was arraigned before the mobile court, where her five-count charges were read.

Her traffic violations included; driving with a cracked windscreen, use of worn out tyres, dangerous driving, assaulting marshal on duty and obstructing marshal on duty.

The Magistrate, S Banwo, gave her a N66,000 fine.

Mrs Eleazar, who has apologised to the officers, was one of the thirty offenders, arraigned before the mobile court.

29 were convicted and one was discharged.
