Lagos State chapter blames Governor Ambode for traffic congestion

The Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is convinced that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is the cause of the increase in traffic.

Recently, Lagos State has been suffering from serious traffic congestion especially on Third Mainland Bridge, Ikorodu Road, Ojuelegba, and Apapa.

While a lot of people are blaming trucks/trailers, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos Chapter, is blaming Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

According to the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Lagos State, Taofik Gani, the Governor is to blame because he makes decisions without considering the consequences, adding that the governor needs to learn more about Lagos State's peculiarities.

“What we are saying now is that all the problems in the state such as the worsening traffic situation in the state is a reflection of Governor ’s inability to manage the state. It is a reflection of his unpreparedness to lead. Without trying to sound disrespectful, Lagos is crumbling under Governor There is serious traffic congestion, is in its worst crisis ever and yet he says the state is moving forward. Lagos has been stagnant since he took over. He needs to apologise to the people of Lagos."
