Keep in mind that blue can be a little overpowering on its own, said Patton, so instead of piling on the blue flowers or linen, use it as an accent colour in vases or ribbons.
Some of Patton's favorite palettes: navy and sage green with pops of yellow and white for a classy, preppy and somewhat vintage vibe; vibrant blues with purples, greens and yellows (inspired by peacock feathers) for a stylish and fun feel; and cobalt and bronze for a beachfront wedding.
