Nollywood actor; Mercy Aigbe should be on a best dressed list and I'm honestly not being sarcastic!

The Nollywood actress, producer, entrepreneur, ambassador and so on makes a pretty decent effort every time, Truth be told she's grown and blossom-just like all the other A-listers and it’s impressive how far she’s come!

The popular celebrity has become some sort of sensation and truly she seems to be able to hold her own overtime and almost never gets it wrong. She has had a great year style wise (she has since last year) and she doesn’t disappoint honestly, she’s always almost nails it overtime; her red carpet style and casual chic styles remain my favourites but overall she makes a great effort.

Aigbe has over the years transformed first into a pretty woman and second one who has finally got her style sorted (she chooses pieces that flatter her and always appropriately dressed) which works well for her.

After being left out of a best dressed list months ago which left her furious, I started following her style (she stepped it a notch afterwards too) which has not been bad at all. She’s carved s style niche that works for her and whats style without having fun with it or second nature to the ‘owner’.

Mercy Aigbe is sorta snubbed though truth be told, whether this is intentional or not; it’s obvious! She keeps up but of course, there are cases where she overdoes it (like typical Nigerian ladies who wear evening dresses to a concert- a topic for another day) but she stays cool, while I’m not saying that those Birkins are all Hermes or those Diors are the real deal, she tries.

While there’s no need to justify someone’s sense of style (honestly) or be called out before efforts are appreciated (though Noble Igwe and Ezinne Chinkata gets my attention here every damn time!)…people who love to be commended especially when they make an effort should be recognized as such especially where Instagram makes everyone a style star after a couple of visits to ‘Mente De Moda'!

There are loads of best dressed list and she ought to get on one, she makes a great effort and honestly I am not being sarcastic!
