You are the center of attraction for the day and the plan is to have you walking down the aisle looking like a real life princess. So think about this for a minute, what makes princesses stand out in fairy tales? - clean, perfect glowing skin - soft lips - bright eyes that flutter like butterflies - perfect smile.

That is what you want to achieve when you translate them into makeup. So you have to pay attention to every detail as regards your skin condition, especially your face and shoulders, eyes, lips and cheeks.

Follow the simple tips below:

1. Ensure that you have a perfectly tone matching foundation, which is great for your skin type as well. You want to exude perfection as best as you can, so your skin has to be flawless.

2. Achieve glow by using a warm bronzer on your cheeks and entire T-zone area

3. To make your eyes pop, perfectly groomed and filled in brows is your best bet. When your brows are neatly groomed and arched just right, your face would be framed better.

4. Whatever you do, do not underestimate the magic of eyelash extensions. Working with strip lashes would save you a lot of stress and heart aches. And what’s more? They are so easy to use and would transform your eyes from bland to happy fluttering butterflies in minutes! The length or volume of the lashes that you choose however is key. Do not overdo this to avoid achieving the very opposite of what you intend.

5. Do not use very dark colors of makeup, eyeshadows, blush, lipsticks and glosses. You must stay clean and fresh with your Bridal makeup and understand that Princesses do not wear drag queen makeup. Unless of cause this is a traditional wedding, your makeup should exude flawless softness.

6. Stay away from too much shine and shimmer from eyeshadows or lip glosses. Remember to keep it matte.
