41% of Pulse Nigeria Poll readers say they will never get married to someone who loves violence when it comes to sex as they do not know what lies ahead.

"My name is Albert, a 34-year-old man working in Lagos. I am in love with a 28-year-old lady who lives and works in Abuja though she visits every month end or I go to visit her whenever possible.

I love Rashidat so much and I have already proposed marriage to her. We are planning to get married in the first quarter of next year but I have a problem with her sex life which has given me a serious cause for concern.

I am the kind of man you would call conservative though that does not mean I do not love trying out new things but my fiancee is something else when it comes to sex as she does not get any real satisfaction unless I get violent with her.

I noticed that trend the first time we had sex three months after we started dating. While we were engaging in foreplay, she kept telling me to bite hard on her nipples, hit her buttocks, slap her, use my fingers to injure her and all that stuff.

After the whole thing, I apologized on the rough way I treated her but she seemed very comfortable with that.

The next time, she continued urging me to inflict pains on her and I was forced to ask her why she wanted pain during sex and she confessed to me that she only gets sexual satisfaction when her man is violent.

According to her, the harder a man beats her, the better she enjoys sex. She has suggested several painful things I should do to her if I want her to enjoy sex but most of these are stuff I cringe at.

Like I said, I love Rashidat very much and she is the kind of woman I would love to live with for the rest of my life but this love for sadomasochism is something I cannot continue to indulge in.
