'High' junkie takes selfie with police officer after being arrested
A 20-year-old man named Gilbert Phelps took a selfie with the police officer who arrested him for allegedly driving while stoned.
According to Metro, Phelps was originally pulled over in Iowa, US and ‘admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving’, according to a police report.
Astonishingly, Officer Hektoen revealed the whole thing in a police department report obtained by the Smoking Gun, which detailed Phelps’ arrest.
During the testing process, the defendant requested to take a Snapchat selfie with me to which I happily obliged’, he wrote in the report.
‘He said he captioned the photo using emoji icons showing a police car, next to a passenger car, next to a tow truck.’
Phelps is set to appear in court on August 17 to face the charge, and yeah let see if he can pull off a selfie with the Judge.
