For stealing the sum of N300,000 from a shopping plaza in Festac Town, Lagos a 31-year-old man, Stephen Ofem, will cool his heels in the Kirikiri Minimum Prison after a Kirikiri Magistrate’s Court ordered that he be remanded there pending when his case will come up for hearing on April 13, 2015.
Man in prison for stealing N300,000
A man who stole the sum of N300,000 will spend a while in prison for his crimes.
The accused was dragged to the court on a two-count charge for allegedly stealing the money at the Numphy Plaza, 1st Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos.
Magistrate A. Adesanya however, granted the accused bail in the sum of N150,000 with two sureties that are to be blood relatives and a clergyman or community leader.
