A woman has sued her ex-lover for refusing to divorce his wife and marry her.
A 67-year-old Manhattan, USA woman, Theodora Lee Corsell, has filed a lawsuit against her ex-lover, James Greenwald, an 88-year-old retired media executive, for going back on his promises to divorce his wife and marry her instead, reports Daily Mail.
And if she gets her prayers granted by the Manhattan Supreme Court, Corsell could walk away with the sum of $2 million, after she rendered Greenwald uninterrupted 'service' for six years.
Corsell says she is suing Greenwald for the ‘reasonable value’ of the six years during which her ‘services’ went unpaid.
She said said her ‘professional services were separate and apart from the parties and romantic relationship’, Greenwald he owed her ‘everything’ and promised to compensate her as well as indicated he would leave his wife.
