Nigerian teenager, 3 others face extradition for gang rape

A Nigerian is allegedly involved in the gang rape of a tourist.

The foreigners all of whom are of African descent are a 16-year-old Nigerian, 20-year-old Congolese asylum-seeker and two Moroccan brothers, aged 15 and 17.

They allegedly beat up the Polish woman’s companion to a pulp, robbing and also raping a Peruvian woman.

According to Sun News, Patryk Jaki, Poland’s Deputy Justice Minister, said the country will seek the extradition from Italy of the four teenagers in the gang rape of the Polish tourist on a beach in the resort of Rimini in Italy.

On Monday, the minister stated the four suspect should face a grave penalty which would hinder others from engaging in such criminal act.

Though the Polish authorities have started investigations on the attack, it has not been ascertained if the Italian government would agree to extradition.
