Rapist caught after he orders victim to call her boyfriend, she called 911 instead
A man accused of kidnapping and raping a woman was caught by the police after he ordered her to phone her boyfriend during the alleged attack but she called the police instead.
Speaking in an interview with the woman(name witheld), She said that the man adopted her from her house and ordered her to call up her boyfriend as he wants him listen through the phone as he rapes her.
Fearlessly and hopelessly, I had to summon up courage and called 911. I was so happy when the emergency attendant understood all I said and next I saw was the policemen surrounding the scene she bluntly added.
Police were able to trace the 27-year-old suspect to a car park of an adult gift shop near Jonesboro in Atlanta as he allegedly sexually assaulted the woman
Clayton County Police Major Joe Woodall told WSB-TV saying that the 911 operator "might have saved [the woman's] life" following the incident, which occurred at 4am on Monday.
Woodall told the TV station that the woman explained to him what the perpetrator had told her, saying that he was wanting her boyfriend to listen through the phone while she was being raped by him.
"They were able to stop it right then and there and snatched him right from the car." He added.
Giles now faces charges of rape, obstruction and false imprisonment, county records show. The 911 call will not be released as it is too graphic, Police major; Joe Woodall said.
Giles is being held without bond. He may have kidnapping charges added after allegedly snatching the woman from her home in Hapeville. He added.
The police major and his group finally thanked the woman for her courage and smart attitude as it was what saved her life and also encourage their people to always be smart as it will help them too in life.
