Armed Robbers Write Palmgroove Residents On Their Pending Visit

Armed robbers are becoming bolder by the day as they now write letters to residents intimating them of their visit.

If you live in the Palmgroove Area of Lagos State, you better prepare for the visit of some very distinguished visitors anytime from now. And as you wait for their coming, be sure to keep some good money and valuables at home because when they come, they would not take it kindly with anyone who decides to not to be generous.

The letter purportedly written by some armed robbers to residents of about five streets in Palmgroove, have left the residents of the area living in fear and trepidation, not knowing when the hoodlums would come calling, with some moving out of the area in their droves.

The said letter reads thus:

Beware of the coming! Be on the look out in this area. Property owners are coming anytime from now. The gate men you have are not our problem. Our problem is how many resources do you have for us?

August visitor must visit whether you like it or not. So expect August visitor when you did not expect. Surely August visitor shall visit just like the second coming of Jesus. It is turn by turn.

The 'property owners' listed the streets they would visit as Oseni street, Nkanna street, Odogbolu street, Ibiwoye Oba and Bode Thomas street.

Though the police say they are aware of the letter and are battle ready for the robbers anytime they make their threat real, the residents say they are really scared.
