'D'banj was stupid to leave Don Jazzy' veteran rapper says

Eedris Abdulkareem lashed out at Dbanj for his 2012 separation from Don Jazzy.

Eedris Abdulkareem believes that D’banj was stupid for leaving Don Jazzy.

In an interview with Goldmyne TV, the veteran Nigerian rapper lashed out at Dbanj for his 2012 separation from Don Jazzy.

“The biggest mistake someone like D’banj made was to be so stupid and leave Don Jazzy. You know why? Dbanj no get talent. Na razzmatazz he get,” he said.

However, he had only accolades for Dbanj’s former partner, now of Mavin Records: ‘Don Jazzy has the technical backup to produce D’banj and make him sound very nice. I love Don Jazzy for that.’

Eedris also attacked Davido and Mr Eazi recently.

During an interview with  Capital Xtra‘s Reggae Recipe, MrEazi criticized Nigerian singers for jumping on the Ghanaian wave of music.

In an interview with Goldmyne TV, Eedris Abdulkareem called Mr Eazi stupid for his comment that angered many Nigerians.

"You must be a stupid man. You are a fool. Number one you sound like Ghanaians. That's why you are accepted, that's why you are not original but because its African music that's why you are accepted. Who are you to say a thing like that? That's pride" said Eedris Abdulkareem.

Eedris Abdulkareem referenced Davido in his diss to Mr Eazi and berated the HKN singer for dissing Dele Momodu on a couple of songs in 2016. The veteran rapper aired Mr Eazi and Davido for lacking respect for their elders.

In an exclusive interview with blogger, Linda Ikeji, the veteran rapper said younger artists will regret having baby mamas.

"Another thing is having several baby mamas because they will all regret it when they grow up. Don't let you kids kill themselves because of jealousy" he said.

Eedris Abdulkareem, during the aborted protest proposed by fellow musician, 2Baba, earlier in the year, accused the artist of chasing all the good people around him away,  attempting to carry out a national protest without carrying along the veterans like him.
