If you have an addiction for good music, songster's "Live & Wavy" concert is where you should have been

Each of the performances given by the artistes had the strength worthy of making them the main acts.

The event which was held at the Freedom Park, Lagos, also presented performances from Clay, Aramide and Temmie Ovwasa also known as the YBNL Princess, female musicians who were as much a delight to the audiences as their male contemporaries.

Though mainly an Indie Rock artiste, Clay proved her tons of musical prowess in her rendition of 'Destiny' , a track off her "Roadless Travelled" EP. It carried messages of her productive journey as an artiste who is now trying her hands on new sounds such as pop.

This invention seems to be helping her reach a wider audience different from her core genre - a factor that has deservedly earned her a calling among the leading crew in the Alternative music category.

Alongside Aramide, a well regarded singer, they thrilled the attentive concert-goers to a train load of soulful tunes which the fan section appreciated in form of wild screams clearly in adoration of their hosts.

Temmie Ovwasa, a young but impressive artiste signed to YBNL Records, had no problem earning the attention of the crowd with her spoken poetry which touched on having the will to become successful despite the challenges of acceptance facing musicians who perform in categories different from the mainstream.

Her interest was clear in an interview with Pulse News at the event, and that is "to make good music and art". The singer's sight is set on her next show, the fourth edition of "Olamide in Concert" headlined by YBNL supremo, Olamide who recently dropped his seventh studio album "Lagos Nawa" on November 17, 2017.

Artistes such as Isaac Geralds, Tjan and the 2015 Project Fame West Africa winner,  Jeff Akoh, all had exceptional performance but the experience of "Super Sun" songster, Bez stood out.

It was important for him to ease up in order not to overshadow the performance of the main act, Hassani. He introduced the fans to one of his popular songs 'You suppose know' which had them singing the track by heart.

Bez intimated Pulse News about his plan to embark on a media tour aimed at promoting the 2017 Bez Live concert expected to hold in Lagos on Christmas eve. It has been a busy year end for the singer who recently performed at the Abuja-heldTameeri Festival Music Concert 2017 and the Lifepointe Church organized "Music in the Park" event that saw him express an appreciation concerning the remarkable growth of Alternative music in the current year.

Johnny Drille, who performed much late into the night thrilled his ever excited devotees to a cover of Seal's'Kiss from a rose' track with support from one of the year's revelation Cill.

The spotlight soon focused on the main act of the show, Ric Hassani, who has been beyond exceptional especially as an independent artiste. He employed the use of humour as a sauce to the primary theme of the night - good music.

The singer established a presence on stage that gave him the reflection of a veteran in the business of churning out sensational melodies. His entrance on the podium saw him bear the image of an intriguing figure who thrilled the pleasure seekers to 'Only you' one of the great tracks listed on the August 2017, released "The African Gentleman" album. He proceeded to performing other great jams 'Police', 'Believe' and the project's stand-out song 'The African Gentleman'.

This rounded up what can be considered an inspiring night for the artistes and the fans who witnessed their performances. It also marked an evening that saw the brightest convergence of a rich list of musicians exploring the Rock & Alternative Music genre, who mounted the podium with the strength and willpower peculiar to Marvel Comic's hero cast of the "Justice League."
