Actor accused of sexual assault back in the 90s

Robert Knepper has been accused of sexually assaulting a member of a movie crew back in 1991.

This new bombshell was dropped by foremost Hollywood costume designer, Susan Bertram who gave a detailed account of what transpired between her and Robert Knepper.

The actor who is famous for his role in the hit television series, Prison Break was said to have while shooting AllisonAnders drama "Gas Food Lodging," harassed Susan.

Bertram, who was 31 at the time of the alleged 1991 assault, says she was a newcomer to the industry when Anders hired her "out of the blue" to work on Gas Food Lodging. She said she had gone to the trailer to drop off some clothes where she met Robert Knepper inside the trailer. She said Knepper "jumped up," reached under her dress and grabbed her crotch "as hard as he could."

"I'm going to fuck your brains out," according to Susan Bertram, those where the words of Robert as he tried to force himself on her. Bertram says she struggled free and managed to push him off, shouting "I'm working, I'm working!. I flew out of that trailer as fast as I could. I just kind of fell out the door, and landed in the dirt on my knees," she says.

Susan Bertram said she ran into a bathroom after that and found out that she was bleeding in her crotch and she later confided in her then assistant, Dominique DuBois.

Susan says her decision to tell her story was as a result of the Harvey Weinstein saga which has revealed a lot about what has been going on in Hollywood for a very long time. She said she was also moved by the infamous tape that went viral during the presidential campaign of then-candidate, Donald Trump about his tactics with women.

"I kind of buried it for a long time until Trump came out with his 'Grab 'em by the pussy' thing. When that happened, I started reeling. People think that's a joke, but that really happened to me," she said.

It would be recalled that Harvey Weinstein who until his downfall was seen as one of the biggest influencer's in Hollywood over the last three decades. Harvey in the last one month has been reportedly accused by a number of popular actresses of sexual assault and molestation during the cause of their interactions. Notable among those who have called out the once famous movie producer include, Lupita Nyong'o, Angelina Jolie and a host of others.
