Even skintone? Fig Brightening Black Soap is all you need

If looking for a natural/organic black soap that evens skintone and brightens the skin then the Fig Brightening Black Soap with Turmeric comes top.

Fig Brightening Black Soap with Turmeric

A lot of people are not 'fans' of black soaps as some can be harsh on sensitive (and even normal) skin but this purely organic black soap with turmeric has brilliant skincare properties.

I got to hear about the soap on Instagram (and although I follow the brand, a Nigeria based natural health store I didn't realize it could be anything special) so I decided to visit the store on a weekend and I got the Fig Brightening Black Soap with Turmeric and after over a month of using it, I'm quite impressed.

Although it doesn't smell special (it's a black soap duh) and comes in a tub (about 700g) it is one buy I have cherished till date.

The soap is actually everything the brand says it is; evens the skin tone (absolutely), brightens the skin (yes it does) and after a few use you notice the glow on your skin and it can absolutely be used on the face.

The highlight for me is the fact that it comes oil free and doesn't contain egg and coconut oil so there's no funny smell or reaction! It contains turmeric which keeps the skin smooth, visibly softer and clearer, brightening the skin without any side effects, who doesn't want that.

The soap works great for the face as well as the body, it's gentle enough to be used on the face and on the entire body. It can be left on the face as a mask and washed off later on without causing any reaction, and for a gentle/sensitive facial skin as mine that's a huge plus.

The soap will not necessarily clear spots but the skin will glow and even out colours all over the body.

I use my fingers to scoop out just enough on my body buff and take a bath with it and for the face I use it without anything, I apply it all over my face using a wet finger and just work it into a lather on my face avoiding the eye area then leave it on for a bit and then rinse off.

The soap comes in a big tub that lasts for months on end after several uses, over a month into using it, I still have a lot left ( I haven't used a tenth of it!)

It's definitely great value for money at N5500.
