In a clash between two sides set to face Partizan during next week's EuroLeague double-round week, the Lithuanian outfit were by far the superior team, dominating from start to finish to claim another top-tier victory.

Carsen Edwards led the way for Zalgiris with 16 points, while Jonas Valanciunas followed closely with 15 points and eight rebounds, and Azuolas Tubelis chipped in with 14. Stepping up in the absence of Nigel Williams-Goss, Saben Lee delivered an impressive performance, racking up 12 points and seven assists.

For the visitors, Hugo Besson paced the scoring with 13 points, one more than Jae Crowder, while Marc-Owen Dada Fodzo contributed ten.

Following back-to-back defeats last week, Zalgiris bounced back emphatically, taking control in the first half with a commanding 50-35 lead. Tomas Masiulis's side only widened the margin after the interval to seal an emphatic win.

Zalgiris now sit in 12th place in the EuroLeague with a 3-4 record and will travel to face Virtus in the next round before hosting Partizan. Meanwhile, ASVEL dropped to 2-5 and will welcome Partizan next Wednesday in Round 8 action.
