Despite finishing the season without a trophy, Manchester City have given midfielder Yaya Toure a huge bones for helping them qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
City's place in the UEFA Champions League next season has been secured after their 6-0 thrashing of Queens Park Rangers last weekend.
According to a Daily Mail report, Yaya Toure has received about N224m (£720,000) for playing a part in City Champions League qualification.
The midfielder had the clause in his contract when he signed for Manchester City in 2010 which required him to take home that whopping sum after qualification for the Champions League.
In Yaya Toure's £220,000 a week contract, he is also entitled a bonus of £357,000 if City win the Champions League.
It is however uncertain if he will ever receive that bonus as he has been reported to be offered to Juventus in a undefinedfor Paul Pogba.
