Instant messaging app WeChat has announced a partnership agreement with two Nigerian startups to help them grow and gain access to WeChat’s audience.

The selection was as a result of the ideathon which WeChat held in conjunction with TechCabal earlier in the year which was organized to select the most interesting ideas from businesses and startups that can ride on the WeChat platform.

The ideathon had 80 applicants, 10 of which were chosen. Among the 10 are Traclist and Pass.ng who are the first to be on the WeChat platform.

Traclist is an online marketplace with a focus on fashion retail, while Pass.ng is a preparatory and testing platform for examinations such as WAEC, NECO, UTME (JAMB), and Post UTME.
