Yesterday Monday 12th May 2014, Nigerian musicians, actors and activists staged a #RescueTheGirls walk in Lagos.

They include Femi Kuti, Jide Kosoko, Joey Okei-Odumakin, Iyabo Ojo, Ayo Badmus, Doris Simeonand Foluke Daramola. They walked to the Lagos State Government secretariat in Ikeja, Lagos.
At the secretariat, Governor Fashola spoke to the protesters saying, “It’s a difficult time for the nation…but also a defining moment.”
