Spiritual leader and founder of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Joshua explained the reason he has not expanded his church into branches like the others.
Pastor Joshua told the congregation that there is a need for God’s character to be fully established before ministerial expansion.
He said he is not disturbed by pleas from people but is waiting on God’s instruction. “Not where they want me but where God wants me,” he emphasised, and added that he was not in a haste and would wait for God’s time.
he said explaining that he had been persuaded by businessmen and pastors as their desire to expand superseded their level of character.
Joshua went on further to explain, reminding church members of Jesus’ words in John 14:27 that the world too could provide wealth and fame although with conditions attached.
He said fame and popularity that would end in calamity is useless.
T.B. Joshua emphasized that the success of his ministry is not driven by money adding that some members still sit under canopies in his church not because of lack of finance but because he was waiting on God.
