Vodacom chairperson, Peter Moyo, has stated that the company is looking to expand its operations on the African continent, but will be careful in its approach.

"We have been looking and will not stop looking, but are going to be very responsible," said Moyo, speaking to the press after the company's annual general meeting in Midrand.

Moyo declined giving a response to questions about the telco's plans including which countries it would be looking to expand to. At this moment, Vodacom has presence in South Africa, Tanzania, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Lesotho.

"The issue really is that we have been struggling to get available opportunities," Moyo revealed.
