Nigerian goalkeeper has been deemed surplus to requirement at Lille

Enyeama who has been with Lille since 2011 has been asked to leave the club by Bielsa who was only appointed in May.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper and 10 other players received messages from Bielsa informing them that they were not part of his plans next season.
In fact, the 11 players have been made to train away from the first-team until they find a new club.
Marko Basa, Marvin Martin, Rio Mavuba, Stoppila Sunzu, Eder, Junior Tallo,Naim Sliti, Julian Palmieri, Éric Bauthéac, Lenny Nangis are the other players who are wanted out of the club.
Despite his situation, Enyeama was still happy to resume training with Lille on Monday, July 3 sharing a photo of him with some of the ostracised players.
“Always a pleasure to be back with the team; life couldn't be more beautiful,” the former Super Eagles captain wrote alongside the photo.
With him in the photo is Mavuba, Bautheac, Palmieri, and Nangis.
Enyeama could still remain in France as another Ligue 1 club OGC Nice are reportedly interested in him.
