Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain, Vincent Enyeama has hit 100 caps for Nigeria in a friendly played a few hours ago in Uyo.

The Lille of France shotstopper made his debut for the Super Eagles has now joined Joseph Yobo as the only players that have represented Nigeria 100 times.

It was a mixed felling for the goalkeeper who could not prevent a defeat for the Super Eagles of Nigeria against their Ugandan counterparts.

The Cranes of Uganda netted the only goal of the match in the 80th minute to register their win over the Super Eagles.

Vincent Enyeama however said that the team is ready to move with the lessons learnt from this game.

"Disappointing to lose. It's a training game and we had a lot on new players and just one training session," he told reporters after the game.

"I didn't know the names of some of the players I was playing with. I was just shouting 'hey' sometimes,"  he added.

He was honored with a special plaque on his 100th appearance by Akwa Ibom governor Godswill Akpabio and NFF President Amaju Pinnick.
