Venezuela National Team Captain and Family Still Missing

Willner Rivas, captain of Venezuela's men's volleyball team, and his family are among the thousands reported missing after two powerful earthquakes struck the country.

According to Venezuelan media, the opposite hitter was with his wife and two-year-old son in La Guaira, one of the regions most devastated by the tremors, which saw buildings and homes collapse.

Communications in the area are severely limited due to damage to the power grid, hindering search operations and the tracking of hundreds of individuals whose whereabouts remain unknown.
