  • The account must have been active on Twitter for the past 30 days
  • The account must have a confirmed phone number registered to it
  • The account must be older than 90 days upon subscription
  • There should be no changes to the account like profile photo, display name, or username (@handle)

Recall Twitter Blue has been suspended several times over some issues since its new owner, Elon Musk took over the social media platform. Its recent spat with Apple had laid the foundation for the increased charges for iOS users as a means to offset the cost of app store charges.

Earlier the checkmark was given for free at Twitter’s volition but after Musk took over, he saw the checkmarks as a means to get revenue for the company and included it in the features of Twitter Blue, a service which was in the works before his take over.
