Transfer Market: Undisputed Starter Stays Another Season at Rio Ave

Rio Ave announced on Tuesday that Gustavo Mancha will remain with the squad under manager Sotiris Silaidopoulos. The Brazilian center-back's loan deal has been extended for another season, following his impressive run as an undisputed starter in the Greek coach's lineup during the latter half of the 2025/26 campaign.

Mancha's rights are held by Olympiakos, but after featuring in just eight matches for the Piraeus club until January of this year, the 21-year-old talent was loaned to the Vila do Conde outfit.

At the Estádio dos Arcos, he made 14 appearances, all as a starter, contributing significantly to Rio Ave's comfortable end to the season. Gustavo Mancha's contract with Olympiakos runs until June 2029.
