Ricardo Velho's future could lie in the Spanish League. A BOLA has learned that Sevilla is keenly interested in signing the Portuguese goalkeeper and has already submitted a formal offer to Farense, who hold the international player's rights.

According to information gathered by our newspaper, the Andalusian club's offer, presented in recent days, fell short of the €3.5 million valuation Farense is seeking for the 27-year-old custodian, who has also attracted interest from other clubs.

It's worth noting that Ricardo Velho is currently with the National Team at the World Cup, despite not being among the 26 players eligible to compete in the tournament. As such, negotiations are being handled directly between the clubs.

Last season, Velho made three appearances for Farense before being loaned to Gençlerbirligi. In Turkey, he played a total of 24 matches, leaving a strong impression with the 14th-placed team in the local league. His contract with Farense is valid until June 2029.
