The player, who featured for England in the 2026 World Cup, was a free agent after his contract with Manchester City expired on June 30th. Stones spent ten trophy-laden seasons at the Etihad and was a key figure in Pep Guardiola's formidable side over the last decade, despite being hampered by injuries in recent years.

According to Pasquale Guarro of Italy's Sky Sport, the deal involves a two-year contract with an annual salary of four million euros. Both parties are now expected to formalize the agreement, though medical examinations have not yet been scheduled.
