The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Onitsha, Anambra state, has declared zero tolerance for overloading.

He urged residents to take note and avoid this particular offence.

“The Corps Marshal’s visit to the state recently was focused on fighting overloading, especially in Onitsha.

And that is what we have come out in totality to do,” he said.

Akpotobo also revealed the total number of arrests and prosecutions.

According to him, no fewer than 2,504 traffic offenders have been prosecuted for 2, 721 offences between January and April, 2016.
