According to the University’s Acting Dean of the Students ‎Affairs Division, Dr Oluwafemi Obayori, these buses are making a mockery of the university's logo.

Making this appeal at a news conference, the Dean said:

"The operators of such LASU Students Union buses outside the campus are hereby disclaimed.

They do not expressly or by way of any implication, have nothing to do with the university, its officials or lawful students union.

A case in point was the unsavoury event of Feb. 16, 2016, involving members of the , the illegal operators and some LASU students.
