Tinie Tempah, who performed at Wembley before the commencement of the FA Cup final has received fierce backlash from users on Twitter.

Football fans on Twitter who were eagerly waiting for the game which was slightly postponed to accommodate some pre-match performances were clearly bemused as to why the rapper was even involved at the final.

In a manner that is fast becoming the hallmark of Twitter culture, users descended on the 27-year-old, hammering him for his performance.

Another one one with the handle @yinglesweeps tweeted "There's a lot of variety, but the average is 2-0 to Man Utd. No one predicted the tightness of Tinie Tempah's trousers, though. #FACupFinal.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of Manchester United, giving them their first FA Cup trophy in 12 years.
