Manchester City win EPL in thrilling fashion

The 2014/2015 English Premier League season will be ending this weekend with Chelsea already as Champions.

This was not the case in the 2011/2012 season when Manchester City won their first title in 44 years on the final day.

Our #ThrowBackThursday for this week is the most remarkable day in Premier League history which saw City snatch the EPL title from fierce rivals Manchester United.

With both clubs level on points, a loss for City would have handed United their 20th league title and it nearly happened.

QPR was leading City while United had won at Sunderland thinking their were champions.

City however came back from 1-2 to win QPR 3-2 after an Aguero last minute goal.

Manchester United were almost touching the title but it was snatched away from them in the cruelest of fashion.
