Pinto shaved seven hundredths of a second off her own previous national best. Her prior record, 11.09 seconds, was set in June during the heats of the Sparkassen Gala in Regensburg, Germany.

Despite the new Portuguese record, the German-born Sporting athlete's personal best remains 11 seconds. This time was achieved in 2016, when she was still competing for the German national team. Tatjana Pinto, 34, has Portuguese-Angolan heritage and has represented Portugal since August 2025.

Arialis Martínez (Benfica) finished second with 11.29 seconds, and Beatriz Castelhano (Sporting) took third with 11.34, completing the podium. Notably absent was former national record holder Lorène Bazolo (Sporting), who placed fourth with 11.39. Bazolo, 43, had previously secured 10 consecutive 100-meter titles between 2016 and 2025.
