Abraham is an England under-21 star who just recently bagged a brace for the English side in their 5-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The 19-year-old Chelsea player is currently on loan to Championship side Bristol City where he has been caught the eye already with his fine form.

His fantastic form has attracted the attention of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as he is still eligible to play for his dad’s country, Nigeria.

Onuoha has revealed that he would be delighted to see the young player join the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi in the Super Eagles team.

“He’s good and he’s in form and it will be interesting to see how he plays,” the defender told .

"I’d heard of him before he went to Bristol City but he has certainly had a hot start – let’s see what he’s about.

“I don’t know Tammy personally, I might know him a bit better after Tuesday, but it has to be his decision.

“If that is something that he wants to do - and that is in his blood - and it is the right thing to do, then he will do it. And I am sure he will do very well.

“But if it’s not in his heart then there’s no point in trying to force people to do things they don’t want to do.
