Gernot Rohr to offer technical support during AFCON

The Super Falcons are aiming defend their title at the 2016 Women Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off on Saturday, November 19 in Cameroon.
According to the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick, Rohr will give technical support to the Super Falcons coaching crew led by Florence Omagbemi.
"We have high regard for the Falcons and we will give them the best preparation to ensure that they go to Cameroon and excel, so I am very excited that Rohr will help to prepare the team,” Pinnick said while speaking at the FIFA Female Leadership Development Programme, The Accelerator Project in Abuja.
“That shows that the German is here for all round development of the game in Nigeria," Pinnick continued.
Rohr first expressed his desire to assist theSuper Falcons when he visited their camp on Wednesday, October 12.
The German coach was impressed with what he saw in camp and advised Super Falcons to have fun but be serious.
For the 2016 Women’s AFCON, Nigeria have been placed in Group B with Ghana, Mali and Kenya.
