Echiekile who plays for Standard Liège will be tying the knot with his partner on Friday, December 30 a day after Akpeyi’s traditional wedding.

According to several reports, each Super Eagles player received the sum of N350, 000 as camp allowances ahead of their 3-1 win over Algeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Each Super Eagles player donated N50, 000 each from their camp allowances to support their teammates’ wedding.
